On 27–28 March 2026, the National Bar Council (Naczelna Rada Adwokacka) held its plenary meeting in Olsztyn, attended by Aleksandra Penkowska as a representative of the Polish Bar. The session included discussions on international activities, including observation missions related to the protection of the rule of law.
As part of this engagement, the National Bar Council participated in an observation mission concerning the final stage of court proceedings in Silivri, which attracted significant international attention due to its implications for the independence of the legal profession. The hearing was attended by numerous representatives of bar associations, professional organisations and international observers.
Aleksandra Penkowska conducted the on-site observation and presented a detailed report during the plenary meeting. Her continued involvement in such initiatives reflects a strong commitment to safeguarding professional independence and upholding legal standards at an international level.
