National Academic Conference “The future of intellectual property law”, December 2023

December 1, 2023 our colleague, Paweł Poznański, spoke at the National Academic Conference “The Future of Intellectual Property Law”, and presented the topic: “The average consumer in trademark law – a fictitious model or the fiction of the right model? Considerations from the perspective of current market realities”. In his presentation he pointed out the discrepancies between the features of the average consumer model and the market reality, in particular the empirically determined one.

The conference, organised by the Department of Intellectual Property Law, Public Economic Law and Labour Law of Białystok University and Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys – Podlasie District, was attended by many experts in intellectual property law who combine academic work with professional practice. It was a great opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss current issues related to intellectual property law and to propose possible conclusions for the future.

Congratulations to the organizers of a very interesting event and to Paweł and the speakers for their insightful presentations.
